Five Things to Expect from Graduation for the Class of 2024

It’s graduation season at BU and we want you to be as prepared as possible for your big day! Below are the top five things to expect regarding graduation. Ready? Let’s get to it!

Commencement is Virtual 

As a reminder, your commencement ceremony is virtual and will be pre-recorded. Tune in to Fall commencement on September 27, 2024 at 4PM PDT | 5PM MDT | 6PM CDT | 7PM EDT to enjoy the program. Links to join will be sent out as the ceremony approaches and don’t forget to download your Class of 2024 Media Kit to spread some cheer!

Spring commencement will take place on March 28, 2025 at 3PM PDT | 4PM MDT | 5PM CDT | 6PM EDT. Students who complete their program during July-December 2024 will attend this ceremony.

Celebrate With the Class of 2024 Beforehand

Looking for a fun and exciting graduation pre-celebration? The BU Grad team will be putting together a Commencement Pre-Party just for you! Tune in for a chance to win prizes, spin the raffle wheel, play bingo, and more! You can RSVP for that here.

A Cap and Gown are not Required, but Encouraged 

If you would like to celebrate your Commencement Ceremony in traditional graduation regalia, head to the graduation landing page to order your cap and gown. As a reminder, ordering a cap and gown is not required. 

Personalize Your StageClip Slide for the Ceremony

BU partners with StageClip to provide an individualized experience for your virtual commencement ceremony. This allows you to upload a video, photo, and personalized message/quote which will be displayed during the commencement ceremony. Keep an eye on our email for more information.
